The venue
Views to the Mendips
The hall sits south-facing above a big open field, with views out toward the Mendip Hills and the best of the Somerset sunshine. Woodland, open grass and a formal garden give you plenty of settings for the photographs, and a short stroll away there is a woodland trail through the trees, lit along the way.

The hall, dressed up
The wedding breakfast is held in the main hall: a bright space entered through the archway and the spacious foyer, with a polished wooden floor for that first dance. Add a marquee liner and the hall becomes a marquee within a building, or put up your own marquee or a yurt on the adjoining field for even more room and a different feel altogether.

The spacious kitchen is equipped for whoever you want to prepare the food, whether that is caterers or your own family. The Jolly Collier Bar, recently refurbished, gives you a quieter room off the main hall, with a fully licensed resident bar manager, a well stocked bar and friendly staff at competitive prices.

Room to sit back
The North Terrace has wooden picnic tables in the sun, the Memorial Garden has its arches and pew, and the bistro entrance area is a good spot for a quiet drink. Between them there is always somewhere to relax and unwind with family and friends.

The hire gives you the building, the field and the basics. How you dress it, feed people and fill the day is entirely up to you.

- 6ft by 3ft rectangular tables, or hire in your own round ones
- Chairs, as they are or dressed with hired chair covers
- The stage for your band in the evening
- A PA system to borrow for the speeches
- Some crockery, china and cutlery on request, and the kitchen essentials
- Camping on the field for guests, with showers and electric hook-ups

- Set-up the day before and clearing up the day after, with no clock ticking.
- Camping on the field for up to 80 units, with showers and electric hook-ups. Additional fees apply.
- Plenty of local accommodation too, with Bath a taxi ride away.
